Through jewelry and ornamentation, my work investigates visibility and invisibility through my queer experience. The hand cut floral forms have an innate, delicate, beauty that symbolizes fecundity, and inspires attraction. These forms are juxtaposed with sexual and intimate queer imagery, to show how the queer experience as a natural one. I am interested in the synthesis of digital and traditional craft processes, and use decals of images drawn digitally, and then transferred onto enamel covered copper sheets.
