I took these photos over several months while exploring the concepts of rigidity and the trace of human existence. 90 degree angles rarely exist in nature, yet humanity loves to create structures that include sharp angles and unnatural patterns. I tried to capture these man-made eye sores as best I could in this project. As a photographer, I’m fascinated by these unnatural forms which surround us and I try to capture them in a way that shows their abnormal and repetitive qualities. These 14 photos, initially shot on 35mm film, were scanned and printed digitally.
