I have studied anatomy and form for years. I have gone through rigorous traditional art education since my early teens. I grapple between an anatomic versus symbolic art style. The more I've learned about the technical art form, the more I desire to abstract it and detangle its form from its expression. As I experiment more with the abstract, I challenge my expectations of what art should be. My love for anatomy grows while also exploring how I can abstract its form. These works represent my exploration into the nonfigurative.
