This series combines my two favorite subjects to explore in art: character design and romance. In creating a diverse showcase of couples spanning multiple genres and inspired by the classic romance novel cover, I aim to challenge restrictive expectations of what a partnership can be. Each illustration gives a glimpse into unique connections between people of all backgrounds. I present this piece with the hope that one day all types of relationships will be found in trashy novels read on long airplane rides.
