As a designer and artist, I am fascinated with the intersection between our world and the garments we fancy. Culture, politics, music, art, society, and most importantly people inform fashion, in turn fashion can also inform them. I believe garments have the power to convey any mood, thought, or idea, and that is what I have chosen to do with [DENIM]. Denim is a material that traditionally has a classic feel to it, but my hope is to recontextualize what is seen as traditional or conventional through the lens of artistic expression. This exhibit is a conceptual showcase of my brand VANA Denim, to highlight the beauty of reinvention
