I make figures that may appear if you stepped in a fairy circle of mushrooms. I am interested in creating objects that capture whimsy, intricate detail, and dream-like qualities. These figures could be a part of a comforting, warm dream or a nightmare depending on the viewer. Subconsciously, these pieces also became a way for me to process leaving behind the place I grew up. The colors and materials I was drawn to ended up oceanic and earthy which reflect the place I have left. These sculptures became a tangible memory for me to hold on to.
