The creation of my work is often done in fast energetic bolts and then followed by long periods of reflection. I work primarily in steel, which has the potential for fast-paced working methods and allows for form to emerge quickly and without the use of an abundance of materials. Mitarbeit is the German word for cooperation and is a study of the formal qualities found in industrial objects. Using steel, paint, and modularity the piece offers new perspectives and a sense of scale as the audience interacts with it in space.
