ART & TECHNOLOGY - BA

Being true to oneself is a key part of the artistic process. I started this piece as a way to stay focused during the pandemic. I have been using this same canvas for around a year and it has some hidden images behind the acrylic to represent the changes I have gone through as a person and as an artist. This work uses its chaotic strokes to convey that, while the product was incredible to have, the more valuable part was creating it. Making work for yourself is liberating from the social constructs of what constitutes “good” art. https://ashowofwork.wordpress.com/
