I repressed a lot of my identity for the first 20 years of my life… Until a life changing moment forced me to focus on myself for the first time. I started taking care of both my mental and physical health while left alone with my thoughts... and queerness was encompassed in all of them. I decided to journal my experience in understanding my identity through artwork and all the wonderful and conflicting feelings entailed. While many of my works are about my personal journey, they’re made for others to not feel alone and to accept, love, and forgive themselves.
