ART & TECHNOLOGY - BA
The imagery for my work comes from my identity, history, and experiences in a Japanese American household. Steeped in nostalgia, many of the pieces relate to my family’s origins and activities I participated in growing up, such as creating origami cranes. Making these works provided a better understanding and perspective of Japanese proverbs my family said that I could not comprehend as a child. @kelli.yamada / https://kelliyamada.myportfolio.com/work
