I grew up in a family obsessed with pop culture and games, and as a result have always been inspired by the playful, weird, and nonsensical. I am fascinated by forming patterns and collections. My ideas tend to come from experimenting with media, tools and processes. I love exploring as many different tools as are available to me, and find that each one changes the way I work and what I make. Because of this, I’m often thinking about control versus the lack thereof. I want to explore the space where some control is given away to the unpredictable.
