In my jewelry, I explore the form of the circle by repeating it as a module in varying scales. Working over a background shape, I deconstruct and reconfigure these modules to make interesting relationships between the front, back, and side views. I then cover their front surfaces with color that is both cool and blue or teal, and sometimes contrast the reverse sides with warm and joyful pink and purple colors that bleed onto the front of the forms. Other works have glistening beaded surfaces, or systems of circles that move across them.
