Working in a variety of mediums, my work often presents a distorted sense of childhood, whether that be through imagery or process. This nostalgia is often contrasted with more mature themes of the grotesque or the psychedelic, and these contrasts are manifested in the forms of neon color palettes and depictions of the body. Childhood is an experience that forever leaves a mark on us, and my work uses it to express feelings of adulthood. The soft and cartoonish elements of my work provide a sense of familiarity and comfort, and I enjoy finding ways to subvert that feeling.
