“some things” is an exploration of personal experiences conveyed through the intermix of industrial and domestic materials. Each piece plays on the effects of gravity, using tension and weight to maneuver the physicality of each form into emotional vignettes. Although a consistent aesthetic creates a sense of cohesion between the concrete casts and crochet forms, each work maintains its own identity through different precarious relationships.
